My first experience performing a Country music hit
Recently, I had the privilege of performing one of the greatest hits of Country music, 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' by Charlie Daniels, at the annual Red Hot Winter show by Rod Sickler, which took place on February 24-25 at 'The City Center' in Champaign, Illinois.
Having never played this kind of music, I was a little nervous, but this event exceeded my expectations. The band was fantastic, and their professionalism was evident from the beginning. Right from the beginning of our rehearsals, I knew we shared a common vision for the piece, and the result was exceptional.
The atmosphere during the performance was electric. The energy in the room made the entire experience that much more special.
Overall, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform at the Red Hot Winter show. The recipe of great music, an incredible audience, and a fantastic band made for a unique experience I will seek to repeat in the future!
